Why I built Ghosts.app.
I wanted an AI writer that could scale my content without giving up the two things my work could never lose: accuracy, and the voice of the person whose name was on it. Nothing on the market did both, so I built it.
What it is
Ghosts.app is an AI ghostwriting platform, and the name is literal. You work with a ghostwriter. You tell it, in plain English, what you want to publish, and it matches you with a specialist writer from a bench of named ghosts, each focused on a beat: SEO content, newsletters, journalism, PR, social, finance, legal. You answer a few quick questions and add links or documents for context, and it builds a real understanding of what you are trying to make.
How it works
Then the multi-agent pipeline runs. Research against real sources, a committed plan, a draft, an independent fact-check, a pass that strips out the patterns that make AI writing smell like AI writing, and a final editor's review with one-click fixes. What comes back is a draft with inline citations you can check yourself. Verified numbers and dates get locked, so a later edit cannot quietly change them. Nothing about the process is a black box.
If you want it to sound like you, you train a ghost on your own writing. It learns your rhythm, your diction, how you open and how you land, and it keeps learning from every edit you make, so each draft sounds more like you than the last. Agencies can train a ghost per client, and every client sits in an isolated room with their own voice and guidelines. Nothing bleeds between accounts.
Why the features are what they are
Every feature is tied to something real from the work. Citations on everything, because a claim you cannot back up is a liability, and I always kept the receipts. Fact-checking on every draft, because "the model usually gets it right" is not a sentence I am willing to stake a client's reputation on. Voice training, because my clients were being written about in national papers and anything under their own names had to sound like them. Per-client isolation, an agency lesson: the fastest way to lose a client is their voice showing up in someone else's content. And repurposing is built in, because one well-researched article should become a week of social posts without another briefing.
Underneath all of it is transparency. You see the sources, the cost before anything drafts, and whatever the fact-check flagged, because I built this assuming the person using it is accountable, by name, for every word that goes out.
Who it is for
I did not build this for people with my resume. I built it for anyone accountable for the results they deliver: founders doing thought leadership, Substack writers earning their next subscription, agencies juggling ten client voices, freelancers who would rather land the repeat order, and law firms, who get their own tier where everything is checked twice and client data never touches AI training.
